COVID-19 Update:

We are in the process of developing a protocol in consultation with the CDC, the State of California, the American Camping Association and the Nageela Camping Network.

Though it would be premature to presume at this point that we know exactly what will happen this summer, we are monitoring the situation, and continue to place the health and safety of our campers as our first priority.

FAQ Registration

Why should I register early?
Camp Nageela offers a special discount for early bird signups. By registering by January 20th, you can earn a $300 early bird discount,  PLUS if you sign up During Chanukah, you can earn several other great incentives, listed on the REGISTRATION BLITZ  page.

How much money do I need to put down now with the application?

The standard camp application must be completed with the required deposit of $50 that goes towards the overall camp tuition.

What if we will need scholarship assistance to come to camp?

In this situation, we strongly recommend that you register now. All scholarship funds allocated will then be in addition to this discount. It is extremely beneficial for you that our scholarship committee will note that you have taken advantage of any/all discount and grant opportunities available before requesting additional assistance.

My child will be a first-time camper. How can I apply for the first-time camper incentive grants?

Most first-time campers are eligible for a $1000 incentive grant through the Foundation for Jewish Camp.  First, please complete the standard camp application with the initial deposit of $300. Then visit onehappycamper.org to apply for your grant.

Is the first time grant able to be used in conjunction with the early bird discounts?

YES!  All discounts we're offering this year are stackable with One Happy Camper grants.

What if my child doesn't end up going to camp?
Should you choose not to attend camp, the standard camp cancellation protocol will be followed- Cancellations before May 1 receive all funds returned but will be charged a $75 processing fee. After May 1, there are no refunds. Should the camper not be attending camp due to extenuating circumstances (family emergency, illness, etc) then a decision for a full refund will be made on a case by case basis.

If your cancellation is due in any way to COVID-19 (either because camp isn't opening, or you're simply nervous that it's too soon- we won't question you too closely), you are eligible for a full refund.

What does it mean to bring a friend? What does it mean to earn double referral credit?
In Camp Nageela, "Friends Bring Friends." New campers are most often introduced to the world of Camp Nageela from other campers. We offer an incentive of a $100 tuition credit for each new camper you refer to the Nageela experience.  It's a "Win Win" Situation! Your friends will receive the special summer savings discount towards their camp tuition and you will receive double the referral credit towards yours! Please do not hesitate to call our office with any registration questions at 801-613-1539 or 844-NAGEELA.
